Bmw vision

The Vision Efficient Dynamics concept car is a plug-in hybrid with a three cylinder turbodiesel engine. The BMW i8 concept plug-in hybrid electric vehicle unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show has a 7.2 kWh (26 MJ) lithium-ion battery pack that allows an all-electric range of 35 km (22 mi). Its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (160 mph) and is expected to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 4.6 seconds. Under normal driving conditions the i8 is expected to deliver 80 mpg-US (2.9 L/100 km; 96 mpg-imp) under the European cycle. A full charge of the battery will take less than 2 hours using 220V.The i8 combines the electric drive system of the BMW i3, with a 96 kW (129 hp) electric motor located in the front axle powering the front wheels and at the rear is a turbocharged 1.5-litre 3-cylinder gasoline engine producing 164 kW (220 hp) and 300 N·m (220 lbf·ft) of torque.

Nissan

After returning to sports car racing in 1995, Nismo (Nissan Motorsport) had some measure of success with their Skyline GT-R LMs which had competed in the GT1 class. However, these cars were quickly outpaced by the influx of new manufacturers who were using loopholes in the GT regulations to build racing cars that bore little resemblance to their GT1 class competitors. This led to such machines as the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR and Porsche 911 GT1, as well as the development of the McLaren F1 GTR. Nismo's Skyline GT-Rs therefore needed to be replaced with more purpose built machinery.Turning to Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR), Nismo began development of the R390 GT1, named to follow in the tradition started in the 1960s with Nissan's R380.

It's taken a good, long while for the Cadillac Converj concept to break cover as a production machine, but at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the car has finally shrugged off its camouflage. You can think of this as the Chevy Volt's more better-mannered big-brother if you like, as this machine relies on the same Extended Range Electric Vehicle platform as its predecessor. That is, it has the same basic hybrid structure as the Volt that allows it to run as a pure EV for up to 35 miles before switching over to a more traditional parallel hybrid mode, burning gasoline for a maximum range of over 300 miles. But, that's not to say this is a Volt that's just made a trip to the tailor for a better-fitting suit -- there's a bit more to it than that. Join us after the break for the details.

While there are changes beneath the skin, the most striking modification going from Chevy to Cadillac is definitely the body. The ELR looks remarkably like the Converj concept that came before, which is in stark contrast to the production Volt, which looks absolutely nothing at all like its conceptual predecessor. Still, the profile of the two cars -- Volt and ELR -- is unmistakably shared.

Infinity is starting a new chapter in its relatively short life, with the new Q50 sedan the first model to be launched under the automaker’s bold new naming strategy.

It’s also the first to be launched under the watchful eye of Audi veteran Johan de Nysschen, who was recently appointed head of Infiniti’s global operations, which means it should come as no surprise that Infiniti’s new naming strategy mimics that used by Audi.

That new naming strategy essentially places a letter Q as the prefix for Infiniti’s regular models and a QX for its SUVs and crossovers.

The first of these new Q-cars, the Q50, serves as the replacement for the G37 Sedan and will initially launch with two powertrains. One is the 3.7-liter V-6 from the previous G37 and the other is the hybrid system found in the M35h. More powertrains, including a potential diesel, will be launched down the track.

Thanks to a leak over the weekend we already know what the Q50 looks like, however, these are the first official shots of the car, which was revealed to the public earlier today at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

The styling of the car and the technology it’s packing sets the tone for future Infiniti models. The muscular look draws influences from previous Infiniti concepts such as the Essence and more recent LE, while elements such as the double-arch grille, waving character lines and crescent-cut C-pillar hint at past models in the lineup.

In the rear, the character lines smoothly merge with the shape of the LED-enhanced tail-lights. Infiniti says the windswept shape results in a coefficient of drag of just 0.26. The Q50 is also said to feature zero front and rear lift.read more:-

BMW concept car

The BMW 328 is considered the most successful and best-looking sports car of the 1930s. The BMW 328's success was the result of its design parameters - through the use of systematic lightweight construction, aerodynamic lines, opti-mum engine types and outstanding suspension technology, it laid the foundation stone for a new vehicle concept, by which performance only leads to success if combined with perfect harmonisation of all parameters and maximum efficiency. With these characteristics, the BMW 328 was even then the embodiment of what the BMW brand still stands for today - dynamics, aesthetics and a high level of innovation.

In 2011 the dream sports car is celebrating its 75th birthday. The festivities will begin near Lake Como at the Mille Miglia. There, the main focus will be on the fascination of the BMW 328 racing car. To this day, the award-winning vehicle BMW 328 Touring Coupé still holds the record for the highest average speed on the Mille Miglia circuit and, in 2010, was again able to win the historic revival of the race. A week later at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, the two-seater's functional aesthetics will be the focus of attention. In this area of conflict be-tween tradition and modernity, the BMW Group is paying tribute to the BMW 328 on the occasion of its anniversary with a special model - the BMW 328 Hommage. "With the BMW 328 Hommage, we wish to pay homage to the passion and inventiveness of the fathers of the BMW 328", explains Karl Bäumer, CEO of BMW Group Classic. "They created an icon, which is consid-ered a milestone in the history of the automobile." The BMW 328 Hommage translates the principles and the character of the vehicle of that time into present times and offers a possible interpretation of how the designers of that time, Fritz Fiedler and Rudolf Schleicher, might have built the BMW 328 in the present day using current technology.

Damaged Ferrari

Damaged Ferrari.............!!!!!!!!!!!

It is the eleventh game in the series, and was released on 3 July 2012 in North America. The game is a departure from the open world sandbox-gaming style seen on past Unlimited games from the series, and returns to arcade racing, just as left in Test Drive 6, and also resembling Le Mans 24 Hours, a Test Drive spin-off.

Development for the game began shortly after the release of Shift 2: Unleashed and uses the same engine to showcase "convincent physics models" and a "one of a kind experience for all driving enthusiasts." The main gameplay in the video game is driving simulation, although the developer claims it to be a balance between simulation and arcade racing. Ferrari Racing Legends does not feature car customization, as Ferrari didn't allow the developer to include the feature. It is the first Test Drive game to be developed by Slightly Mad Studios.

Ferrari Racing Legends focuses on Ferrari's history across almost all of the racing disciplines, including Formula One, rally racing, and GT. There are over 50 different Ferrari vehicles to drive, and each shows off full realistic interior and exterior models, as well as damage effects. The game is set to be released in celebration of the 65th anniversary of the first Ferrari ever built, the Ferrari 125 S of 1947
